Our Story

My name is Chris Paschopoulos, and together with my wife, Stefanie, we breed Italian Greyhounds under the affix ISO Sighthounds.
We live in Nicosia, Cyprus, with our two children. Our shared passion for dogs brought us together and laid the foundation for our family.
My journey in the world of purebred dogs began in 1994, when, as a young and enthusiastic dog lover, I obtained my first Doberman. During my studies, my interest expanded to include the English Bulldog, a breed that soon became another great passion of mine. Upon returning to Cyprus in 2002, I established the Cerberus Pride affix and began breeding and exhibiting English Bulldogs, achieving numerous successes in both breeding and the show ring.
In 2012, I was honoured to receive my first appointment as a Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI) judge for my foundation breed, the English Bulldog, together with FCI Group II. Over the years, I have expanded my judging qualifications to include FCI Groups III, IV, VIII and X.
A significant turning point came in 2013 when I met my wife, whose breed of choice was the American Staffordshire Terrier. The following year, during a trip to Italy, we had the opportunity to spend time with Italian Greyhounds (Piccolo Levriero Italiano) outside the show ring. Although we were already well acquainted with the breed through our involvement in the dog world, it was our first close experience living with them. Their elegance, graceful movement, affectionate temperament, and distinctive character immediately captivated us, and from that moment we knew we wanted to dedicate our breeding programme to this exceptional breed.
Since then, we have been breeding and exhibiting Italian Greyhounds under the ISO Sighthounds affix, proudly presenting our dogs at some of the world's most prestigious canine events, including the World Dog Show (WDS), the European Dog Show (EDS), and Crufts (UK).
Our breeding philosophy has always been to prioritize quality over quantity. Every breeding decision is made with careful consideration, with the aim of preserving and improving the breed through sound health, stable temperament, correct breed type, and functional structure. We firmly believe that continuous learning, responsible breeding, and careful selection are essential to the future of this remarkable breed.
Driven by the belief that judging and exhibiting are inseparable aspects of the dog world, I remain actively involved on both sides of the ring. This dual perspective enables me to combine the objectivity and knowledge of an FCI judge with the experience and dedication of an active breeder and exhibitor.
